Ever think that person at the office or in the neighborhood could ever be you, later on in life? Sometimes we find out we are our father or mother as we age. The dislikes or favorite things that were once theirs is now ours as well. The reactions, habits or mere opinions are not the appropriate or yours anymore.
Life changes everything and with age we become different people therefore learn to accept and let things go.

Voices from the streets of this country, USA as told by Mr. Boris Chaney. A real boots on the ground outlook and concerns as the “common” man. This is not the news but opinions about the news such as the Iran/Israel/USA war.
What we really know and what we don't through our politicians and our fears and paranoia to follow.
Also the “van-lifers” what is it and why? Why are we forced to consider this option for our seniors? I need a person to contact me for an interview, please.

In some manner move on from the past mistakes. The most important part of recovery of any sort is your mental outlook going forward. You are the most important concern and the rest can get in line. Don’t allow yourself to be defeated gather strength in anything or the people you know you can trust to put some steel back in your backbone. Move slowly but with a purpose to find that positive view from your mountain.
Remember memories can be beautiful but also poisonous if we let them become stagnate in still waters gathered around our brain.

Say it isn’t so, time has claimed another stage of our lives as we grow older. We realize father time captures us all whatever we thought about the old days, we all are gathered up at the end of the journey. Listen to this episode and hear Mr. Glen Matlock recall the bitter sweet side of being labeled a member of the Sex Pistols the most iconic punk band of our generation. Glen is much more than a loud, screaming band and his life after the Pistols can show his skills and long-life within the music industry.
We had many technical problems that day and besides not seeing each other at times he was interrupted at one point. I still enjoyed meeting Glen and his keen sense of humor is lighthearted and quite fun.

How do we protect the seniors? These are days of uncertain futures and we have no control. It seems as though the senior citizens again have no voice to be heard about the changes or the directions that are being made. When there is no one around can you protect yourself? Can you be strong enough to determine the real and the unreal? Is the wall you have built around your mental health strong enough to survive these days?
Everyday problems that are magnified on top of daily struggles with too many changes at once or even needed. We find ourselves trying to keep calm but with everyday comes another problem or issue to deal with. We are forced into our own “safe-space” even if that means between our ears, to live in the past and not watch the news.

Are you the easy touch?

Do you cave easily? Are you the soft touch for everyone else? Is it your tendency to give in before standing your ground?
Don’t become aggressive but stand firm with your feelings and thoughts in all aspects of your life. Just because you get older doesn't mean you have to become weaker and always easy to manipulate. On the other hand don’t become that old person that just complains. Are you an easy mark for telemarketers, salespeople or charities?
Examine your interactions with friends and family where do you stand in the “dog syndrome”.

With a glimpse around you see who is not worried about their jobs? The everyday worker or service worker we fail to appreciate until there is an emergency or need. Before choosing college courses you might want to consider a trade such as plumbing, electrician and see the potential income. No matter what you do in life there will always be a need for repair, replacement or install of some sort and at some level.
We salute the hands-on workers!
